Authors can make their contribution in SPER Times in the form of articles, news bulletins from industry, institutions & colleges & information about future events, plans & programs. To maintain the eminence and tempt of magazine, we have marked out some elements for each type of participation. We plea our readers & contributors to organize the information in the stipulated manner as specified below. Any divergence from the prescribed requisites in formatting and length of the report/article would be justifiable grounds for rejection. The decision of the Editorial Team shall be final & obligatory in this regard.

Articles

  • Should be of general type as well as research based.

  • Should not have been published in any other magazine / periodical.

  • Should be crusty & have relevantly analytical title along with the names of authors and their address. Name of corresponding author should be highlighted with an asterisk and should be provided with e- mail id.

  • The length of the write-up should not exceeding 500 words with a proper ‘Conclusion’.

  • Text should indicate relevant reference number as superscript with the references listed at the end.

  • References should be given as per Vancouver’s style.

Society News / Campus News/ Conference/Seminar/ Workshop News

  • Pronouncements/News of programs, conferences, seminars, workshops and other events should be sent properly in advance to ensure publication. News should markedly emphasize the title of the program, dates & theme of the program & the targeted addressees. Details of the program can also be attached as a concise note.

  • Details of programs should be provided without any delay after completion of the program.

  • The report shall not exceed 500 words for ‘Society News’ & 250 words for ‘Campus News’.

  • The title of the report for ‘Society News’ should clearly specify the name of the Society Branch along with the name of the program. Similarly for ‘Campus News’ the name of the college along with the name of the program.

  • Reports should apparently specify theme of the program, delineate the happenings & wedge of the participants in the program.

  • Photographs should be accompanied with clear, precise captions. Photographs without captions shall not be published.

  • News about papers presented in major conferences should indicate title, location & date of the conference along with the title of the paper presented & details of the authors in a clear point-wise manner. The news clip shall not exceed 150 words.

Awards & Honors Received

  • The name of the award recipients, name of the award, awarding agency & the awardees contributions to deserve reception of the award, in a comprehensible manner.

  • The news bulletin shall not exceed 200 words.

Ph.D. Awards

  • Should indicate SPER Membership number of the awardee. The awardee should be a member of SPER to merit publication in SPER Times.

  • Should indicate name of the awardee, title of the thesis, name of the awarding University, date of award & name & designation of the research guide in a point-wise manner.

  • Should be accompanied with short summary of the thesis of the awardee in 200-300 words.

It is a generous request to all contributors to provide their valid E-Mail IDs for their write-up/ Society News / College News / Ph.D. Awards / Awards and Honours. Contributions should be sent preferably as soft copies. You can mail your contributions to spertimes@sperpharma.org
